Private Lessons

Private obedience lessons are available for those who want one-on-one attention or those with hectic schedules who cannot make it to our group class times. Private lessons can follow the basic class outlines or most certainly be tailored to the canine student’s needs or the family’s goals for their dog. You have access to the same service of  follow-up telephone calls or emails between lessons. Private lessons can be held at our Pet Supplies Plus locations or in-home. Cost varies from $35-$55.00 at our training room or $65 -$150.00 at your home.

Anyone who has the conscientious mindset to improve their dog’s behavior by attending training classes, sometime find private lessons are just what they need for varies reasons. Private lessons are still for the owner who has the desire and dedication to train their own dogs.

Private lessons are the most comprehensive way for you learn how to train your dog or puppy. As your pet behavioral coach, you and I will tailor a program dealing with your choice of topics and issues to communicate to your new furry family members. The most important thing to me in helping you with your dog is for you to have a dog that YOU enjoy. There are a few universal right and wrong behaviors but mainly it’s ALL ABOUT WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR DOG. Private lessons take place in the comfort of your home, your office, our training room or any other location that you choose… have treat bag will travel!

Here are some considerations for private lessons. See if any of these make private lessons a good choice for you-

  • Your schedule is different each week or you are not available during the posted class times
  • Your dog is aggressive, nervous, or scared when outside your home or around other do
  • You have specific goals not targeted in our class outlines- we assess what your current situation is, find out what you want from your dog, formulate a plan to help you reach your goal, and then work with you to achieve your idea of a family dog.
  • You would like a coach’s undivided attention for the entire lesson, which means that both you and your dog have a better chance of progressing fairly quickly

Bark!Here’s most popular private lesson package for basic and intermediate training (extreme aggressive or specialized goals price may vary) is six hours of training in five lessons. The first lesson is two hours(min) and the remaining four lessons are an hour-ish(I can never quit talking dogs in just an hour) each. The minimum fee is $595 for private lessons in Dallas area. Our training scope is mainly a square made up of: south of Hwy 380, east of I35W, west of 75, north of I20 areas; however, travel fees may be applied to some areas. We’ll give you an exact fee during our telephone booking conversation. We do travel outside these areas, so please call or email for more information.
