Training a puppy is happening everyday they are with you! So, if you have any "OMGosh" moments and you're getting you ready to throw the puppy out with the bath water, please call for a quick phone therapy, I mean visit. Basic obedience group classes can begin as soon as 16 weeks, although recommendations for how intense varies and graduation completion can be on an individual basis. Training for young puppies is generally recommended to be light, gentle, and fun; more like a game than an exercise. Our formal puppy classes accept puppies starting at three months of age, although Bark! Here provides socialization classes for younger pups. We also offer in-home training sessions for younger puppies.
Puppy Class

Puppy Socialization is for puppies that are between 12 weeks to six months at the start of the class. The training commands are taught by encouraging the puppy for the desired behavior NOT trapped by the leash. However, importantly note, that during all group sessions, all dogs will remain on the leash for safety but not solely for training purposes.
A training philosophy of persistence, insistence and consistency is integrated into all aspects of the training procedures. Common puppy problems such as house training, puppy mouthing and jumping on people are covered in class.
